This Thursday, July 24th, at 7pm, Section 7 Books invites you to a presentation of Anabases, a book on the work of Eric Baudelaire published by Archive Books, in the presence of the artist and two of the contributors, Morad Montazami and Pierre Zaoui. Conceived in the aftermath of a series of projects by Baudelaire, all dealing with the particular form of thought process and time structure of the “anabasis,” the book gathers in-depth essays by Homay King, Jean-Pierre Rehm and Pierre Zaoui, and calls the figures of Michelangelo Antonioni, Masao Adachi and Xenophon. This “ocean crossing”—as Montazami introduces the book—may sound like holidays, or crisis, depending on your mood.
